Hello everyone. I was just wondering that how much a vaild PR6 domain costs? Its a valid PR6 domain checked by iwebtool.com and seologs.com. So can you tell me how much it cost. Thanks
I don't know. I suspect the brandability/useability will come into play meaning not all PageRank 6 domains have the same value. It will be interesting if you get some ranges quoted. I am as curious as you
I know but the problem is that i cant reveal the domain name in here . But at least there maybe a nearby price for it.
Pr is controlled by Google. The value of your domain is not. There is way too many factors like Does the domain make sense? How many backlinks does it have? How old is it? Is it ranking for the target keywords? What market is it? Your best bet is to confide in a Pro domainer & ask what their opinion might be. Just being PR6 is like asking What is the difference in price of a 4 letter domain & a 5 letter domain.
Yes, PR is only one of the thousand factors Google is willing to display before our eyes. Knowing that it is a PR 6 is nice, as it proves a rather concrete and solid foundation. There are many factors deserving considerations. It all depends on how much you think you can earn by investing in this PR6 domain. People usually charge as high as you are willing to pay, so be prudent with your earning estimate. A PR 6 domain with good naming can easily worth is the range of $x,xxx. But If I have a PR 6 domain and someone offer me $x,xxx I won't sell. I can easily 'renovate it' and make that $x,xxx in few month's time.
There was (still are?) several for sale yesterday here at DP and the (established) member was asking $500 each.
With a PR6 domain, you can easily place 10 x $20 text link and gets $200 per month. Therefore, I would say you can sell it for $2000 (10 month revenue) [conservative approx.]. Please note that the above assumption does not take into account of the niche and the nature of your domain name. If you really holds a great domain like PR.COM, Pagerank is just a nice addon.
I wouldn't pay $20 a month for a PR6 link when they have 10 external links... The more external links they have, the less benefit you gain from having that link. I think 5 is a reasonable number. There may be a lot of people willing to pay that though, so I'm not really stating anything here other than my personal opinion. As for the domain, you also have to take into consideration whether it currently has a site on it, how long it's been since the site that gained the PR was actually hosted on it, how many backlinks it has and whether or not you're going to be able to use the domain to setup similiar content to what was hosted previously. Google has a tendency to drop PR fast on vacant domains and if you add completely irrelevant content to the original content that gained the PR, you might see it drop significantly as well.
