Paul Allen. That's who I meant. Sorry. Was tired. However the point stands. He basically went off to do other things. Paul Allen has a lot of different companies and business now. From sports teams to a cable company among other things. My point was, I know for me, I get tired of doing the same ole same ole and enjoy the creative process. Trying out new things, building new sites and getting them nice SERPS and making money. However, once they get to the point you have done your tweaks, and it is little more than the daily grind of maintanence, I lose interest. I prefer to sell it off and move on to something else. It is a lot like a new girlfriend. I enjoy having the new one for a little bit. The new toes, new clam, someone with some new stories to talk about, and interests. However, as soon as it is no longer 'new' I lose interest and move on. That said, there are a lot of people who prefer a developer business model. Just as there are some who are salvagers and buy dead or dying sites, revamp them and sell them off, then others who prefer to build a asset and just sit on it forever. Everyone has their own preference and no one is any better than the other. All make money. 2 cents.
