How much DP makes money .... ?

As we all know the great number of visitors that digitalpoint has, however from what I can see there are not much ads on it, so the main question would be do they make a good $ out of DP forums?

I'm sure they do alright, but I bet you anything for the amount of impressions DP gets the money would seem horrible. Think of the fact that everyone here on these forums is probably making money in some way whether it be adsense, another ppc program, affiliate marketing. And those who aren't are still computer smart people in general based on the subjects of other parts of these forums.

so I suppose they make a bit but probably not all that much. Just my guess though I could be wrong.

 

it has been discussed many times in the past. the answer is, yet DP makes very good money from adsense. few years back it was 10k a month but now it must be lot more

I think DP get a lot of impressions, but CTR maybe low because most people here knows about adsense and seldom click at the ads.

Shawn I think is making more money in his software than adsense... and this forum is pretty abandoned.. no software updates so far..

 

Forums are known to have a poor revenues from adverts and webmaster websites are also know to have a lower CTR rate. The combination of both suggests that Digital Point doesn't make much CTR and a low visitor to earnings ratio. That doesn't mean DP doesn't make a lot of money. I would estimate $xx,xxx low monthly

 

I read the article about the top earners in adsense too. But it was way outdated 2006 figures I think. I am curious as to what the updated numbers are.

 

It is my guess, it must be around 30-40K a month.

Try looking at the threads after you log out. Non registered users see lot more ads at DP.

I have seen threads were people mentioned that DP is making something around $15K/month.

 

DP are making 5 figure per month

 

Forums have a poor rate click and remember most people here are webmasters, so most are blind to the adsense ads around here

 

Shawn gives his adsense money to charity. He does not need money cause he is shawn.

 

Yes, I think little bit true that. But I found some exceptional ad on header which attract us to click on it although being webmaster and adsense blind

 

i doubt they are making more than 10k a month. they may have been making that in past years but adsense's rate per click has been going down because the economy has limited advertisers budgets. it doesnt matter how big your site is its hard to make money on adsense nowadays.

 

I agree with all of the people who have said that most DP visitors knows what exactly is adsense and seldom clicks so I doubt if they making too much $, in addition there are not much ads as far as I can see anyway ...
