DP owner would be making more money, if it was not a revenue-sharing forum. Do you know how much money it needs to maintain a forum like DP?? even 10k is not enough for a month!!

Meh. Huge traffic, but look: - It's a forum. It has AdSense. AdSense CTR is ridiculously poor on forums. - Who frequents the forum? Webmasters. And webmasters are not exactly known for clicking on a lot of AdSense ads. In other words: worst business idea in history. Yet, the site does get insane traffic, so that probably makes up for it. I'm just saying the daily average is probably a lot lower than most folks would assume.
Shawn already stated last year that this forum receives more than $10k per mth in Adsense revenue (taking in of course that he only gets 50%, giving other members get the other 50% in the revenue sharing program). That was last year. I have not seen Shawn lie to date. So, I would check your facts before making such a rash statement. I think he might have another project, from which he may be earning a handsome amount of money! Because this forum doesn't need any maintainable, anymore, since it's regulated by qualified moderators! So he might be working on other "hidden" projects
