    I'm thinking of adding a searhc box to my site.

    but i'm wondering about the revenue potential.

    how are your search boxes doing?

    not bad .... they can actually earn you a lot or make you lose money sometimes.
    It all depends on what the surfer searches for and what ads show.

    Well...the search box gives more CTR than the content CTR...I have used before and get some clicks there...but after I changed design...now Im getting NADA.

    I have found that I get only a very small percentage of my total earnings from the search box. I would suppose though that if I made the search the focus instead of the ads earnings would be different.

    sometimes im using it but serach box gets liitle money for me so i removed all search boxes from my sites.
