My pet community, www.iheartpaws.com is going to be a PR5 at the next update. On my homepage I have some affiliate links that are pretty much a waste. I would keep the google adsense and the few sites that sponsor our forum contests etc. However, I have room on the footer and side panels for a site wide (forums exempt- though this could be done) for both text links (on the footer) and image/text links on the side panels. For a PR5 pet community with few outbound links, how much could I charge monthly for this? I'd really like to get some help paying for the site and the upgrades I'd like to make to it. I saw a PR5 text link in directories going for 15 monthly (not even sitewide). Any input would be appreciated.
Now whats your current PR? I think for reaching PR5 you should spend some money on it! I think monthly some links are as low as $5 but if you are going to sell only few outbound links then you can sell at a higher rate!
My current PR is a 4, but it's predicted to be a 5 at the next update. I only plan on selling about 5-10 links, but they can include a button and/or text link... they can also be sitewide. Should I wait until the update to start selling it?
smart link sellers pay for relevant backlinks to a site, so dont get cought up in PR too much, they will want to buy links on your site b/c they are relevant to theirs (if they know what they are doing) You could probably sell some links for around 25/month
Well I know PR only means so much, but it is a selling point for many. Do you think I should just make a button that ad space is available? Sell it here?
My answer is yes as it may bring you some link sales may be around 20% I think so The best example I can give you is www.pegasusdirectory.com where they are selling links at a rate fo $27 per month
We get a pretty good amount of hits per day, especially for a 9 month old site Knivez- I use the Rusty Brick PR prediction tool. It's www.rustybrick.com - It even tells you the percentage you've gone up toward the next PR.
This PR predicting tools do not work, I have seen many with a lower PR than predicted, including myself... From PR3, I was supposed to get PR5 and I got PR4. Your site was also supposed to get PR5 and stayed at PR4 as I can see... About selling few links on your home page, PR is not the only factor, traffic is another one...
Here this tools you can check accurate PR I am very satisfied with these tools http://www.services-seo.net/pagerank...ator/index.php http://www.services-seo.net/link-popularity/index.php check with these tools it s accurate
hey there: If your interested, I can offer you a home page, maybe even site wide, link swop... msn me
Nice PM Yeah I am in the dog house for sure. and yep I got your pm, we can agree to disagree on somethings you know, especially things that both sides have meritted arguments for. Drop me a pm or post with your desired anchor text, mine is: <a href="http://www.dogflu.ca/names">Dog Names</a> I think we should stick to homepage links as I am beginning to think that site wides are being devalued...
Actually, there is no meritted argument on both sides for that- swear! If I know anything, I know about that. I'm actually writing a really big article on BSL and I'll be sure to forward it to you if you doubt me. No hard feelings of course, but I really wish you'd change that It just adds to the already undeserving stereotypes spread about them. Well anyway, I'll see how you feel after reading my article- it's long though, 14 pages already and not even finished. As for the link, I agree... I'll put yours up tomorrow. Mine is: <a href="http://www.iheartpaws.com">Pet Forums</a> Sorry I got you in the dog house! I didn't even say anything that warranted dog house punishment, lol!
