How much does it cost is it paid by the hour,work??? I have a project that I am working on getting prepared for, and I was looking to hire a few programmers to help me build this online drag racing game.
Programmers can be paid a salary, time & materials or fixed price. Hourly rates can very from a couple of dollars an hour for a salaried person in India to over two hundred dollars per hour for a T&M professional developer in USA/ UK
It depends on what currency you are using and the quality of work that you expect. Generally, the less you pay, the lower the quality. That's what I believe anyway, and this applies to most services. E.g: Get a cheap web host at $1/month and expect less speed/quality, bad customer service etc. Get a cheap mechanic and expect your car to break down again a month later. Drink cheap beer and expect a hangover.. well that's my philosophy anyway.
