How much does PR and CTR matter?

So how much does your PR and CTR matter when it comes to the value of the ads placed on a particular page?

Does one matter more than the other and why?

I'm new to reaping the rewards of adsense so I'd appreciate some tips regarding this.

    Thanks in advance!

CTR matters, of course, since you want as many as your visitors to click on your ads.
About PR... Higher PR will get you higher on google, but I have experienced something different. My site went from PR3 to PR1 and my earnings 200% up... I guess it is because visitors keep coming back. But if the website is new, I think that you should try hard to get a high PR.

AdSense doesn't care what pagerank you have.

CTR is important, but it really depends. Some of my sites get a lot of impressions and low CTR, but the profit is much higher than some sites that have a high CTR and low impressions.

In the end, all that matters is your profit :)

Well low CTE is good for any site and you have to maintain it ess than 10%.:) PR is not much effect on Adsense.
