How much does it cost to produce a movie

I have written so many interesting stories that are unique.How much does it cost to produce a movie in Hollywood and can anyone tell me the processes involved.

A great film doesn't necessarily need 60 mil. Paranormal Activity was made for 15 grand. You don't need all the bells and whistles to make a great film.

 

Depends on movie. which type type of movie you want to make..?

 

That's interesting question. Generally, you can make movie with budget lower than 1 million USD.

 

Its totally depends upon the cast and direction of the movie and i think you must concern to a movie director for exact estimation,

 

Hollywood filmmakers are not always the money when the money, this is the whole world to know. However, the recent exposure of a string of numbers or make you speechless, the original a great movie needs such a huge money! There is also a very interesting trend that is closer to modern times, the money spent making the film more and more likely millions, are addicted to modern people to spend money yet? !

 

The movie studio "The Asylum" who've produced such ridiculous/wonderful B list films such as 'MegaShark vs Giant Octopus" and 'Transmorphers' never spend more than a million on their movies and they always make a profit.

I dont know how much it costs in hollywood but low-budget bollywood films are made in 1 cr

 

yaah.. same here i have also no knowledge about cost for hollywood movie but my brother have in bollywood film line so i will tell you after talk with my brother...

 

i think in hollywood it can be 1 million to 1000 millions to produce a film.

 

I think if it is an Indie Film, it cost around 500,000 up to 1M. However, if the movies you want to produce are like Harry Potter or Twilight, 5-10x of the said price is needed.

 

It depends on what kind of a movie the person is going to produce. The subject, story and location are some of the major factors which also decide these things.
