I have a small business and need a logo design. How much should i offer to get a logo design.

You may buy a Logo Template that is being used by several other people. $15

You may want to get it from a freelancer for very cheap. $30

You may want to get it from an online company at an affordable price. $150

You may get it from a renowned designer who may have developed Logos for all the Big Names in the Industry. $5000 - $25000

 

It all depends on your requirements. If you need a simple one, 5$ should do. If you want a decent logo to be done, 50$ would be the best.
Else, for a high quality vector logo, it ranges between 99$ to xxx$

I would suggest you to give your requirements to a good freelancer and ask for a quote...
As the price varies greatly depending on the complexity and time involved in designing that logo.

Bought a few logo's from 99designs.com. That's a great place to start pricing around. Then once you find a good sample take it to other designers for pricing.

 

Place a post in contests with your budget...quite of few talented designers right here.

 

Yeah, I would post a contest on DP and say you'll pay $30.00 and I bet you'd get some pretty nice designs at a cheap price!

 

Its very hard to find somewhere that will do exactly as you imagine. I have been through various ones and paid hundreds just to be dissapointed with the results try a freelancer they generally aim to please to get repeated buisness just be sure to ask what files the can supply at the start.
