    Hi Guys.

I think some of you guys have experience in iphone development.
How much does it cost to get a Iphone and/or Android app?

The app has to be something like a navigation software for people.
The route is coming out of a Database and has a few waypoints.
On every Waypoint the user has to do something, e.g. enter a Answer or watch a movie and so on.

This is not a job offer. We just need a feeling how much it would cost. :)

    Thanks

Android app developers are hard to find. I see ad for experienced developers 90-100k/yr. From what you described, I would say the app would cost you $5,000 - $10,000

You are probably looking at a couple of K at a minimum as the market isnt that saturated yet but your description is rather lite to be able to say much more than that.

I think $10,000 is a fairly good estimate for the features you are requesting, from a decent developer. But more experienced developers may charge much more than that (and deliver probably a level of polish that can make the difference between a successful and an unsuccessful app).

If you want a time estimate in case you decide to learn and do it yourself, I would say 3 months if you already know the platform you are developing for a little bit, and up to 6-7 months if you are just starting. But take this with a grain of salt: I have seen guys starting from zero and making a beautiful app in less than 3 months, and developers with some experience taking much more than that to deliver a similar app.
