My website is auto related and last month my average per click was 70 cents. No magic, nothing, just simple text banner ads on the sides. As far as pay per impressions, i sometimes made 1 penny from impressions. So for me, clicks work alot better.

 

It's depend of Traffic and content.

 

Google will pay you for clicks, not impressions! The value of the click depends on the niche, traffic origin and user ip.

 

what is the most you can get through using adsense for a click? I own home security related sites.

 

as far as my sites are concerned its quite low, haven't estimated it though
