As title says, I'd like to ask how much does google adsense pay per 1000 impression? I have a
forum that gets 3000 visitors every day. And also which one is better? banner CPM or text CPM?

    depends on many factors:
    trafic source
    niche
    quality of the content.

Google doesn't really pay for impressions. If you can increase click rates, then your forum is good to go.

Your better trying to increase your clicks rather than impressions.

Some ads do pay per x amount of impressions but its not a lot.

Clicks are far more rewarding if you have a good niche

It does pay for impressions. I've several sites where i get 1 cent for 10 impressions (Banner 160x600 ).

As Guys mentioned earlier, go for Clicks hence increase your CTR to get good earning.

Google pays u a fair amount for cpm ads.. but i dont thkn there is text cpm ads... i was using a 468 x 60 CPM banner which generated near .5$ per 1000 imps....

Never use large rectangle etc for CPM... its a foolishness to do so wasting ur valuable clicks...

Am a Professional Adplacement... I can handle PHP,Python,HTMl or almost all kind of scripts and i can place the ads efficiently.. also deals with forums....

Just pay me sum bucks and get it done and revelutionalize ur adsense earnings... already done plaecment for many sites....

Sometimes i get 0.01$ without any clicks, i think it is for impressions.
I even heard you get earning for impressions only for image ads and the amount varies according to niche :)

You can't earn much from just impressions, imo.

Google does pay for impresson but the cost very less, just few cents per 1000 impression. Adsense publisher normally jut ignore the CPm but focus on CPC.

Adsense earning basically not based on CPM but CPC. Depend on how many click you get and the CPC of the ads

Depending on your niche, CPC is a much better way to go. On my main site in the investing niche I get about a 7% clickthru ratio with and average payout of about $2.00 per click. I also monetize via affiliate marketing (clickbank, brokerages etc...) for about double the pay per visitor as adsense pays. You also should seriously consider collecting emails, that is the way to make your income explode!!

google adsense is PPC (pay per click). You might need a PPI (pay per impression) ad network.

Just make sure that the niche you are focusing in is a niche that people have to pay alot to purchase clicks so that your share from adsense is still worthy.

Forums make nothing on CPM. Not even worth distracting your visitors with.

Adsense payment depends on many things like niche and contents (some contents are highly paid and some are lowly paid), number of clicks as well as from where the click is e.g. India (paid less) or US etc.
It is difficult to say without knowing details.

as far as I know it so depends on volume advertising budget and also depends on your site demographic traffic.may advertiser not activating there networks adwords because of poor conversion, and this what publisher should rethink more about relevancy

I had around $ .35 for 1000 impressions. But I am agreed with guys, Google does not guarantee you to pay per impressions.

I have a forum with 5000 uniques a day. Very small CTR but adsense also pays for CPM, however it still only adds up to $2 - $3 a day. My blogs with 1000 uniques a day make $5 from adsense each. High traffic forum is the worst performing site when it comes to revenue.

The forum is Canadian based and focused so 100% of all traffic is from either USA or Canada. If your forum traffic is in large part from third world countries, like India or Pakistan, expect even less CPM revenue.

Very hard to say, depends on quality of traffic. Why not just put it on for a few days and see?
