How Much Does Google Pay for their own ad?

Google has had their banner on my website for at least the last half hour. Does anyone know how much, if anything, that they pay for a click on their own banner?

Probably a few cents because if they didn't pay - then it would display a public service ad.

Yeah, when selecting the ad format and colours, select the block colour option. That means if no ads are ready, instead of public service ads, it displays a blank colour.
