    It's already worth nothing to webmasters, and it's been worth nothing to users for many years.

    Mostly "editiring" is a soothing, repetitive activity for OCD sufferers, but even for that purpose, there are better "therapies" in web 2.0 land.

    It definately has some value in it. Although it depends what do you have your website about. If you have educational web site or research site then in my opinion it is important to get linked in DMOZ.
