How much does ebay make off each sale?

i'm interested in starting a BANS site, but the domain i bought for..most of hte purchases will be around 90-150 some up to like 300 but rare. it's for sneakers, and i'm wondering if the profit earned will be worth it?

so how much do they make per sale

 

25 cents listing fee
Initial 3.5% then another 5.5-6% per each sell. <---- You split 50% from that fee.

 

so they take 10% essentially?

Sneakers? You might want to look at some other CJ advertisers. There are several different shoe merchants on CJ, and on SAS. You would probably make more with them than those items on ebay.
