How much does Domain Name contribute to Page Rank ???

    Does anybody know if the Domain Name selected also has any importance in deciding the Page Rank ???? Also, is there a difference if i get a '.com' or i get a '.info' ???? Any thoughts on this wud be appreciated :D

    It has no influence, but it is better to get a .com than a .info
    BUT not for the pagerank..

    .info are used by spammers and sites with .info are seldom considered serious except for some

    Get a .com unless you can get a great keyword .info. It sounds like you will be doing mostly SEO for promoting and not worrying as much about branding. Also, your domain name has no effect on PR, so don't worry about it. Just worry about promoting your site.

    domains have nothing to do with pagerank but it may affect keywords.

    if your domain is similiar to what your keyword will be then it is surely helpful
