I've been using them and things get indexed quickly. But I'm in the process of moving to WP, just because I really need categories, and don't like any of the makeshift options for Blogger workarounds. Jenn
Blogger is great. I haven't messed with wordpress yet, but I don't really see a need to when blogger does everything I need it to do.
Suck? Why is that friends.. As mentioned on page 1 i thnk.. gets you indexed in one day. Even that stupid G spammer used it to get indexed.. so i think it shall be a good friend. Aka, vlogger and not that spammer
we can't compare wordpress with blogger, of course its(wp's) much better. but for a newbie who just want to write i guess blogger is good option. Not to forget its FAST indexing capability. Many google features like sitemaps works flawlessly with it. And its not down most of the times like we used to see few months back.
It seems like google would favor blogger because those link to themselves (google news or blogger, owned by google). I still like http://www.blogurple.com the best though.
I'm such a retard. I've been wondering why my Blogger blog hasn't been indexed for two weeks now and it was because I was restricting the search engines from viewing my blog from some dumb setting in Blogger. It affected robots.txt. grrr.. Someone smack me.
Im happy with blogger for the moment, helped me get 2 up and running in no time, i may go independant in the future but for now it suits me.
Blogger blogs are usually indexed quiet fast. Just concentrate more on building links or posting in DP. Your site/blog will be indexed eventually.
If you are creating a commercial site, you should invest the money and resources to make it a success. While being on Blogger or another of the "free" hosted sites can work, your site's fate is still in the hands of other people and their evolving attitude toward what is and is not acceptable content. If you are making money you cannot afford to have someone decide your site does not fit into the host's policies.
