Whenever I'm viewing a site for sale, people often use "Already indexed by Google" as if to increase the value of the site. How much does being indexed by Google increase the value of your website?
That's what I thought! I guess it just sounds better to say "My site has been indexed by Google" and so on, eh?
Whats the value of a website not even indexed by Google? ...and how do you plan to get visitors eh? Think of it, why in the world would you even buy a site not capable of being found by other people in the biggest search engine?
Your site index gives you an indication of health problems on your site; if you suddenly see a spike or large drop in Google indexed pages it flags a warning that there is something wrong that needs some attention. We focus mostly on Google, as this search engine sends us the greater share of organic SEO traffic, i.e. they have a larger market share
That's funny I've never noticed a site advertise "ALready indexed by Google". It's funny to me because it doesn't really matter at all. Being "indexed" by Google just means Google is aware of your site's existence. Does not imply ANYTHING WHATSOEVER about your search engine rankings, popularity, etc. The crappiest websites in the world are indexed by G.
