I have a number of articles that I would like to resubmit to different article directories. How much do I need to change the article in order for them to not be consider duplicate content?

In other words, how smart is google? If I change %10 of an article will that suffice?

Hope this is the right forum.

    thx

If you want to submit articles to different article directories, then no need to change them. If you want to change articles that are already submitted to the article directories, then you need to rewrite them.

    Use this tool, dupecop.com/

to make articles different. I have seen people using this tool to rewrite articles about 75%

Thank you for your response... I have yet to see a content spinner that is adequate for anything other than a SE.

I was planning on rewriting them myself, or at least changing the main words.

Ummm, respectfully disagree. If the same article is found throughout the internet Google will try and determine the source author. Then all duplicates are dampened.

The best approach to this is write unique, quality content no matter where you submit them. Think for a second, how many times do people need to read the same article?

Furthermore, many article directories have already been disqualified from serps by Google because they accept duplicate content. One article directory that still remains strong is Ezinepublishers.com. Why? Because they human review content and don't allow duplicates in their network.

There are FAR better ways to promote your site than submitting the same article to many article directories. No, Synomizing it is NOT the right answer, Google will also detect that using LSI.

Yep imo spamming the net with duplicate articles on different sites is not even worth the effort. Create original unique content and search engines will love that, even if it's just one :p

Nowaday you can get some unique content for like $3/400 words article...if I were you'd rather spend some more money on unique content. That'll surely get you better rankings in the long term.

Yep, you just need to be careful. At the price you are quoting I don't know ANY GOOD authors that will write content for that rate. In other words if the content lacks context and a powerful message then you may as well submit dupes.

I was thinking about building a big site with tons of unique content, of course if the person wants to use unique articles for article marketing, than it's a better choice to hire a good freelance writer.
