wow, sounds like there are some seriously hardworking webmaster here! I do maybe 9 hours a day. I am guilty of spending alot of time surfing too I have to admit : )
I spend about 10 hours per day. I avoid casual surfing during that time. I actually have friends that get upset at me because I'm online almost all day, but never available to chat because I'm online for a purpose, and I don't want to waste my time with chatting. Unless it is productive chatting.
Hi! Marketing? About 1/16 of the time..and hour or so/day. That is going to have to change. My days are normally 14-16 hours..but spread across various tasks and customer projects. Bryon
I spend about 2-3 hours working on my personal site during the week. Some days more, and on the weekend sometimes none.
I am about the same, 12 to 14 hours a day, but that will change soon, my son is due Oct 31st. My day job is webmaster for a not for profit organization that allows me to work from home as well and the pay isn't bad either, which I was surprised for a NFP. I also have multiple Internet Marketing and SEO contracts that I stuff into my day within that. (If only I didn't spend part of that surfing)
Around four hours a day. Have a full time job which keeps me busy until 18:00. Get an hour in from 18:30-19:30 (ish...) and then another 2 or 3 from 22:00/23:00 to 01:00. That's not including the time I use during my day job.....
Avarage I spend 2 hours/day online. But I work only half hour, than I check forums, blogs, watch TV series on computer...

I am surprise to see the respond...Some of the reasons I asked was because: 1. To see the position I' am in...what I mean is that if a lot of people are working long hour, then I also have to if I want to keep up with making money online. 2. To see if working long hour is really a good idea or not... You ARE trading your time here and time is important. I assume most of you use your time instead of money mostly. I been slacking lately and it seem like things go better when I take it easy and not rush. Working online a lot create stress and worries for me :-(
Online?... 14 hours per day, 8 for the day job (I can't kill it yet lol) and 6 for personal project. Resting my eyes and my brain on sunday.
yea its hard to keep that strict regiment with time. Just casual surfing is such a temptation... its my vice
