How much do you value your time?

    Hello Dp Webmasters,

Did you know that LE automates the link exchange process and also hosts articles? This website is very cool and it's really about helping you save time. How much do you value your time exchanging links?

The advanced membership at Link-Exchangers.com will verify all of your backlinks in seconds, and if any are found to be broken, you can email the webmaster of that link with 2 quick clicks. That email will contain all the linking information of that webmaster's link on your site, and all your link information which was on their site. If you find numerous broken links after running the backlink checker, (this happens all the time), how much time does having this feature alone save you? How much time and effort is required to do the following:

#1) check all your links with a 3rd party link checking tool
#2) Once you've done that, when the tool says, "this link is broken" what do you do? For many, it's just delete that link from your page. (too much effort for anything else) Or, for those who want to email that webmaster to fix your link, you have to :
    a) locate their email address. (how much time does that take? Where is it stored? Do you even have the email addresses for all your links stored?)
    b) open your email client, paste in their email, manually type a subject line.
    c) type the email message with all the pertinent details including your linking information for their site and the exact location of where your link used to be on their site! (How much time does that take?)

Are you starting to get the picture? Most people don't want to expend the effort. After all, if they have deleted their link to your site on their end, they may not be willing to put it up again. Many are just trying to get one way links after linking to your site. So why waste the time manually typing up an email? But you could...

To do just one email is going to cost you 3 minutes+ to copy and paste all the relevant details. If 5 links turn out to be broken after running your 3rd party link checker tool, that's 15 minutes of your valuable time spent to send the 5 emails.

Would you rather spend 15 minutes of your time on 5 emails, (for a link which may or may not appear again) or send out those 5 emails formatted with all the correct information in a politely worded email requesting that your link be fixed with 6 clicks of your mouse? (about 10 seconds) :)

Which would you prefer 15 minutes or 10 seconds? (2 seconds to click on 5 checkboxs and click send)

I think I've said enough... If you would like to get the script, which will make the traditional copy and paste of link code optional for you, and make life easy for link exchange, please register your site first and then register at the support website. Simpy submit a ticket requesting the promo code in the body of the ticket.

    Cheers,

I never waste my time begging random people for a link or doing links exchange with unknown webmasters.
Having your own network of sites gives you the incredible ability to build backlinks fast and professionally :)
In rare occasions I might contact a friend of mine and ask him to do me a favor by linking to some website.

link exchange is nothing but a waste of time and google is coming down HARD on it for some time now. there are plenty of one way link building methods that take lot less time than chasing link exchange partners.

why link exchange is not recommended anymore? read my blogpost here: http://blogs.digitalpoint.com/entry.php?b=54

Yep. Link exchanges, and especially "community link farms". Too easy for Google to see the pattern and devalue it.

sultanofseo is right, LE as a method is useless nowadays. scking, you need to think on something more up-to-date to offer.

Agree with the above posts. It was once upon a time when link exchanges did work.
Actually my first job in the SEO sphere was to do link exchanges, several years ago, but I believe even then it was already not effective method... Nowadays it is simply a waste of time, unless you get quality backlinks to your site and return such from not indexed pages and pages that are not linked from your site(so that they wont get indexed), this makes it a 1-way link...
Still not using it as a link-building method and automated such sounds like even worse idea to me.
