I have a site, a movie site that is making me $150 a day from CPA. I don't want to disclose the site yet but I wanna know if I plan to sell it, how much should I ask?

Its only 15 days old and currently making $150 after its 1 week of launch. I have no pagerank whatsover since the site is new.

Traffic averaging 700 views per day with 500 unique visitors. so eCPM is around $15-$20.

How much do you think its worth?

Why would you sell it? If you keep that up, it equals an annual salary of nearly $55.000? Quite decent, I would say.

How long do you think it can sustain the $150 a day though?

    Wow! thats one decent site.
If you keep it for a few more months and then get stats to prove that the traffic will keep comming and there is reliable revenue, i think $30-45k.
But I am not certain you can actually keep that profit comming.

I can keep the traffic coming, only requires some promotion which I can achieve. So its not that hard to sustain the traffic. I dont know why I wanna sell it..haha. Maybe lazy with all the promotion

Thats amazing.. only 15 days old and making $150! Sweetie you should write an ebook on how you did it! About the price.. Maybe $2000 or more.. have people make an offer.. see what they say. :) GOOD LUCK

usually average income past 12 to 24 months multiplied by 10 times.

However, your site is very new. so most of the people will not be ready to buy it for good price.

The most important question for buyer is how long the claimed earning can be sustained.
Normally buyer will not buy new site but they will ask for minimum 6 month of average monthly earning.
If you can keep the $150/day for 6 month then your site will be worth 5x of your average monthly earning.

Well, I think I had enough of eBooks..haha, people will ask that same question, "if you're making $xxxxx why are you selling it for $xx". Also selling on Dp is dangereous, no offence to anyone but the ebook will spread like wildfire with buyers selling it to other newbs for half the price. I think I'll be keeping this method to myself:) ur very nice sweetcrabhoney..woo ur name sounds delecious! ahah
I don't know, I'm thinking of doing other investment if I can sell this site, but after hearing all your comments, I think I should keep it for another year or so.
Thanks for showing me where I stand. I guess I should just keep it till the time is right to sell.:)

Haha..who says movie sites are saturated! LOL

For a 2-weeks old site $150 a day is very good unless you are investing some big money in promotion.

    Understandable :)

If the method is something that could be adapted to other niches though, I'd be interested in discussing working together on some other projects. Drop me a PM if it interests you! :)

I definitely agree it'd be helpful if you could keep the income up for a month or two.. if not even consistent earnings, at least not a super drastic drop because sustainability (to me) is pretty crucial. I hope you make a killing, that's really awesome you did your work by hand like that, I really admire that approach!

Best of luck when/if you do decide to sell. I can understand why you'd want to sell because sometimes if you've mainly built one real cash cow you get nervous and want to sell it, split up the profits and start a few more to prove it wasn't a fluke :)
