How much do you think I will make?

Hello. Nice to see such a wonderful forum. Well guys I need your views. I am about to start with adsence and I want the best start possible.

My wesbite is http://www.msgstuff.com I get between 1500 - 2500 unqiue vistors everyday (Although that was a few months ago, it may of changed).

I am placing an ad underneath the main menu, I think it is in good sight. However, what I want to know is, if there is a better place to put it (in your view) and how much I will make roughly a month.


Is the ad I am using. Any help would be great guys. Thanks!

 

If i am judging how much i make I will say .... about 20-30 dollars a day if you have some 4% ctr .... put ads somewhere visible .... in the middle ... you will get poor ctr with ads just under menu..... I think, but may be wrong

 

What if I place some at the bottom of each page. Where the copyright is? With an image? Would that be enough. Idealy $5 a day would do me fine. Would that meet my target? Thanks again

The only way to find out is to place the ads and let them run for a week.

If you really want to optimize your CTR and earnings you will have to move the ads around to determine the best placement and color scheme for your site. This take time but will pay off in the end with higher earnings.

 

Thing is, I have get adsence up and running now for about 2 and a half days. The code is in my source. But the ad's are not showing. Appearently google need to check the website out. However, I dont know how long it takes. How long does it usally take?

But your help has been good. I'll try them in the middle of pages as well.
Any more rough estimated would be good

it's on the main page, underneath the menu. But nothing is showing yet. Hopefully it should soon.

If I was you I'd put a large tower there instead of that small rectangle.

Also you can try images beside the ads. I don't know for certain if Google is fine with that but i have seen big websites having the images for more then 1 year and Google does not say anything.
