How much do you spend monthly on backlinks?

I don't spend money to get backlinks, I get it for free.

 

That was $45p/a - or $4000 per month, though I could pretty easily spend that amount per month.

 

Im #1 in google for my keywords, and I haven't spent a dollar to get that.

 

Getting it for FREE is always good...

Although acquiring quality authoritative links usually comes for a price.

for 5 websites i spend between 2k-7k per month on EACH site. this enables me to remain in the top for some very special terms....some months 2k will do it, other times it hits the 7k mark.

You have to remember that its easy to loose your ranking, very hard to gain it back, especially when your competing for extremely popular terms.

 

Insane! Do you earn that money back?

Im saving up for a wee marketing compaign im launching at the end of this month. But im looking to get permanent links. Should spend around $5000-$10000 depending on my money situation.

I have stopped buying links. I prefer to do link exchange. Does not cost a thing and is very effective if you do 3-way link exchange.

I have spent 300 dollars last month. It makes a big difference to your rankings if you can get pr5 + relevant backlinks. (my experience anyway!)

I have only spent $9 to date and I'm not sure it was worth it. Maybe I should be spending more and more wisely.

 

Im thinking about spending on some links, but I am not sure if I will make back the money I spend. I still relatively new to the whole website arena, but If I spend say $50 a month on links, would I see an increase in the amount I make (about $50 a month). You need to spend money to make money, but I am somehow hesitant with this.
