How much do you really get from Hostgator?

on CJ it says it's $100 per person who signs up under you, but at Hostgator.com it says

so for me to get $100 per sale i'd need to get 11-19 referrals a month..which is ridiculous . so which one is it?

 

I would go by commission junctions payment terms. If you use that link they will pay you by thier terms. Hostgator might have one plan for commission junction and one for thier own affiliates. They might pay less to own affiliates for a few sales and more to commission junction to get more affiliates.

 

if you have one person sign up you get US$100. i don't know about the rest because i have only had one person sign up, but it is $100.

 

If you sign up with cj it's $100 per sale. If you go with HG's in house program the other levels apply.

 

ive gotten $100 per sign up using CJ

 

the reason cj can give $100 per referral is because they are making over 20 a month so they would be getting $125 or more for each referral you make.

 

although when i signed up to HG i couldnt comnplete online for some reason and they said because i completed over the phone they dont pay out the commissions

i know i clicked an affiliate to go there which is why i asked them about it

 

This is easy, just use the CJ link. Why ask?

I've always wondered how hard it is to get those hostgator sign ups, thats a crazy commission! A lot more than the nickle and dime ebay gives out...

 

I must really suck at affiliate programs. I'm striking out at both CJ and Hostgator.
