how much do you pay per-click?

I have been upto $8.00 (dumb) and as low as $0.03 with an average CPC of 1.75. But never to $0.01

 

The fees of GG's adw have increased very much than ever,i usually set 0.35 per click

 

wow. some people pay $8 for a single mouse click? what on earth are you selling?

 

I heard some one get $64 per click.

some lawyers pay $50+ per click for cases that will pay them $150k+ if they win, I don't pay any more than $1.25 per click

 

Penny clicks are still possible on the content network. The search network is really getting out of hand though.

if you want traffic from the content network targeted to the asia regions

 

India targeted content network will get you 1 cent clicks.

 

Cost per click in search network is between $0.04 to $0.20

 

Actually, it's possible to have 1 cent clicks and I am not referring to the content network. I achieved that 6 months ago, I had it for 4 months and after 1 month of 2 cents I am back to 1 cent / click.

It's really very very targeted keyword phrase, really connected to the ad and page.

So, all together it's possible, but it needs a lot of testing.

you can stay low cost if you stick with long tail and do a proper research. Your quality score needs to be high too. I got long tail ones at the moment which cost me around AUD 0.06 and I'm in very expensive weight loss market

It depends on the product you are promoting and the ROI on your campaigns

 

If you are an advertisers having many websites, i need not say this. Ofcourse different keywords require different cpc.
In india, for a celebrity content, you can advertise as low as 10 paisa ($0.002) also, adwords allows to bid for 1 paisa in india.

For the keyword "web hosting", I set up the campaign for 5 cents targeting all the regions, I spent about 50$ that day, with not even a single sale. Because traffic coming was from all the Asian countries and most of those countries didn't even understood English. Now that I have targeted only US and UK and I am hardly getting any clicks. This is how a low CPC works!
