The government has just revised the fuel and gas prices here in India and it has increased a lot. This will lead to even more inflation as the prices of other commodities will also increase.

But it is much needed. Most of Goverment company sell Fuel on older rates when Oil price was $80 since then it's going high and high. If goverment not increase price then after 2 or 3 months they can't but Oil from other nations.

It's getting closer and closer to $5.00/gal in the state I live. The cheapest one I have seen, is in the state above me at $3.87/gal.

 

Crude scales new high @ 139.23, In India Petrol @ Rs. 50 in $ terms $1.3 and in Mumbai Petrol @ Rs58.
