seems kinda expensive to buy a single link for like 20 bucks isn't it? I guess it does depend on the traffic flow that it gives u like if it gives u unique visitors everyday to your site then it's worth it but how do u determine that

I dont really buy links for traffic as such, only if i need some traffic surges. IF i were to buy for SEO purposes; age, page pr, relevancy and link placement

I allways consider the age of domain, number of out bound links, Page Rank and how relevant the site is to mine.

I pay around $40-60 for a PR5/6 on sites that have simular relevance with around 10-25 out bound links.

I don't believe in Permanent links. But I would rather pay for monthly, quarterly or even yearly basis. It depends on the site.

PR1-3 range from $1-10 .. It really depends on the site..

It entirely depends on the page content, volume of traffic, the sites SERPS and the PR to some extent. There's no set price for these types of things.

there are so many variations involved here with three important criteria being- whether you want to buy for PR, traffic or Serps. all would have different price values but if a link helps my site in the serps, that's the one I would buy and the price I am willing to pay for it would depend on what ROI I can get for that improvement in Serps. :)
