How much do you pay for links?

    Hi Guys

I just want to see how much people are willing to pay for links. For example,

Would you pay $20 for permanent 1 way link. Assuming the page is related to your site and will always have less then 25 links on the page. Or would you pay more?

    Also include what'd you'd pay for PR1,PR2, PR3, PR4, PR6, PR7, PR8, PR9 ...pr10?

It would totally depend in the perceived strength of the page and it must be super relevant.

in 95% of situations I would not pay more than what would give a direct ROI from traffic from that link.

and most people should follow the above guidelines unless they really really know what they're doing.

a lot of people waste a ton of money trying to buy high PR links and finally realize it hasn't done a thing for them.

    It all depends.
What's the PR of the page? and usually I don't buy links from the page with more than 15 outgoing links.

Ok, since everyone wants specifications here it is....what do you think of these prices.

    $1 = PR0
    $3 = PR1
    $5 = PR2
    $8 = PR3
    $12 = PR4
    $20 = PR5

Ive just made these up. Now assuming they are ALL related to your site, no more then 15 out going links on that page, ALL different IPs, you choose your anchor text, description, would you pay that? If not, What would you pay?

I am working for a company which spends a lot of money on links, but the site is absolutely huge. So, yes buying links are worth it and it isn't a shortcut theres always work involved but there are ways to leverage your time. Im trying to get a better idea of what they are actually worth

i wont keep a fix price
price is determined with traffic flow, growth of website, its design, unique visitors, leads generation from the website, and more..

you can predefine prices of websites which are not that active, remember you have to spend your time with the website, maintain and manage it

if you have 1 website selling 10 links $20 a year
is $200 enough for maintaining for whole year including hosting charges, domains, promotions, link building.
also positions of links is important
header, footer where the links will be placed,
other then that is it gonna be a site wide link or home page link

I only look to buy links that are permanent. I rarely will ever pay month to month or yearly for a link unless I know I will get actual targeted traffic from it. I also only look for links that can be embedded naturally within the content of a website and not placed with a bunch of other links. The price can vary for me as long as it meets those criteria.

last month i paid $ 27 for PR 6. it can be little bit expensive last weeks of google PR updates. and it can change site content to content. for expensive directory links cheaper than mortgages.

There are a few more things to consider than just PR... The quality of the site, authority, traffic and some more factors. I don’t like buying links on pages with more than 10 outgoing links, except if its a really good link :)

I just paid for a $47 link on kingofthebill.com . Was it worth it? I don't know yet, but the owner just renewed his registration to 2011 and it's been getting more and more visitors everyday.

I would pay for a link if it would bring me a good amount of targetted traffic. Basically, if a PR0 site brought me more traffic than a PR6 site, I would pay more for the PR0 site. I wouldn't purchase a link simply for the PR value. That is just me.

Link prices set for objectives are the best!

If you want SERP placement - then the way to go is high PR links combined with deep embedded links in content hosted pages. (PR measures trust, you want trust pointing to you SO that Google can be sure that you belong on the top 10)

PR doesn't matter for traffic, although you will probably get more traffic from higher SERP placed sites.

I have been selling PR1-PR3 link packages at $50 for 50 trusted, one-way static links. These are not auto-generated sites, have a max of 15 outbounds per page, have at least 5 pages indexed with one major SE - ALL this for only $1 per link.

Other packages I offer are 20 links for $150/ month ranging from PR4-PR6 (these are higher quality than $1 links) also have PR9's that'll cost you $1450 per month.

It depends on what you are willing to spend to make your money.

If you have lots of domains - you can cut your costs by publishing your ad space through us; therefore, the links you buy and the links you sell can minimize your costs.

    Cheers!
