how much do you pay for links montly?

i am a newbie to the industry and my friend told me he is spending 500 monthly just for links. i would like to hear more voices here before i break my bank...

 

i'm spending 250$/month for only link building every month (for nearly 2 years)

 

May I ask you a few questions...

How effective is $250 in link building? How many hits you get back?

I've never paid for links, and always wondered how things would improve if I would.

Now google has a 'report paid links' page though, i'd be even less inclined to spend money on links

 

www.backlinks.com is the great source for advertisers. They can get tons of homepage links at very affordable prices. Many people promote their websites by buying links because they want human visitors who can be their customers. There are a lot of niche market websites there to publish your ads at least $3 homepage link per month.

 

$0 at the moment but planning to put a bit of money into it.

 

I've only ever bought 1 link and that was PR5 for $7.50. I normally do it all the free way but it was such a bargain I couldn't resist it.

there are many freeways to do this !
but the fastest way is the payed way all the time !

 

A simple short answer to this question it is very difficult to say how much one pays for links as it depends upon the site and other things

 

Adsense and Adords has always on balance made my sites cash
BUT Never more than can be achievedby using Loads of other FREE methods
some listed here

 

At the end of the day ..
All you need is time and patience and Determination.
Don't have that use Adwords or similar

I spend between $2,000 and $3,000 per month on links and online advertising.

It seems like a lot of money, but I manage and promote almost 1,000 websites...
