    6 out 10 of my friends (that i have asked) pay more than 1000 for 6 months. (full coverage - Illinois-ages 21-29) is that normal ? I just want to compare....

    Sorry can't help with this one, my car's that old I don't bother with insurance. The price of petrol these days I wont buy a new car either.(until this one dies anyway ;))

    Most people complain about prices, some are just way to over the top.
