My initial goal was 1 dollar a day. This makes the 3rd month I am over 200/month from google. Add in what Chitika actually paid and the posters and I am over 250 each month. The site (see sig) is 1 year old as of Nov 28th
If someone says they are running sites not for money then this is not true... coz we have to earn for our livings... i like to make site for peoples byt to earn from them to so that i can enjoy what what i lie to do and live happily to.... even thoe my site earnings are not much that i can pay my bills and etc.... but i can hope for a better tomarow.... well.... just my thought....
Not everyone runs sites to make money - but they are only here if they want to! I work for a company where we historically have run sites just for the benefit of the audience, these sites are *big* in terms of page impressions. So I tried a little Adsense trial on one site on four of the pages, a mixture of high and low traffic pages, not including the home page. And bingo $20 dollars a day. So I completely agree with the content, content, content adage!
RELEVANT CONTENT is The King of The Hill! I have my hoby, 100 Tech Blogs... Now With CHITIKA my Hoby is MONEY MAKING MACHINE But Real Content is THE RULE #1
This forum is the bomb. All this time I've been wasting time at work reading blogs, forums, e-zines, and newspapers, I could have been on this forum learning from you people. I will spend majority of my day here from now on. for those who are successful- $1k/mo to 15k/mo, how much traffic do you get to your site each day/month to achieve those kind of numbers?

I make enough to pay for my carpayment and some groceries Its not a million bucks but sure makes me happy!
Completely depends on the market you're promoting and the avenue of promotion. I've begun to think of broad averages as absolutely useless.
I make enough that I can enjoy myself without having to go get a part time job, things to get tight sometimes, but it's worth it. Hopefully I can turn this into a full-time gig someday, and by someday I mean 2 and 1/2 years when I get my degree and have to enter the real world.
About 4months and 150$ -> a lot couse I almost done nothing with my site. Now I'm doing a bit of SEO and trying to get more traffic and redesign it to put more content.
I make around 20-30 cents a day not much. A couple months and it might even be up to a dollar a day ! ;-)
