LOL!!! Ahem... Now, is that the kind of ultra high-quality, ahem....content... site you want to have on your other domains if we got you some domains??!!
Amit: Seriously, go read The Internet Search Engines FAQ. It should get you up to speed on the basics pretty quickly. Then you can learn a lot more here at DigitalPoint.
I was recently reading posts on income from Google adsense and the people were really forthcoming, while the participants in this one are keping their cards to thier chest. Why so? Anand
You really think someone who makes $5K, $10K or $50k a month is going to reveal his/her secrets on a free public forum? c'mon, put some common sense in it
Most people who make purely "adsense" sites don't understand that you have spend money to make money anyways - and you can tell that by the wonderfully "unique" design and thought that went into site creation.
Additionally, where I was raised it was considered ignorant and downright impolite either to ask someone how much money they made or to tell someone how much money you make. Simply put, it's no one's business but mine.
Where is the other discussion on adsense income? Can you pm me the link if you don't want to post it here? My income from Adsense from Jan 1st to Sept 25th is $3,801.62
hi Minstrel & Walker Minstrel - a good point - sounds like you also come from Europe initially... in any case, I agree with Will that there are some basic knowhow is to be expected from anyone posting here - that link to the Faq was a good thing. jez
Interesting observation - I've never considered there to be a difference there. But actually I was born in London, England, and about half of my family is still there, although I've lived most of my life in Canada.
We have many affiliates from several of our programs making over $10K per month. Many of the big ones I know that are making like 30K a month are doing it with PPC, so they do have some high ad costs to pay out of that. But some are making 10K a month without hardly any ad cost at all. Many of the bigger earners I know have lots of datafeed sites and that's how they are making big money through natural search without any ad costs. But they know how to play the datafeed game and create unique content to avoid dup penalties.
I don't think it is about how much you make, but the value of what you make. I make around USD 200 a month trew adsense and other programs. Can't live from it, but it pays my hosting & phone bills. A friend of mine in Iran makes around USD 250 as well, but he can pay rent and food with it! (still not make a living from it)
It sounds to me like most of the big guys here have had sites online for years... anyone having this kind of success with "new" sites (i.e. 3 - 6 months old)?
Totally agree, however I must admit I do once in awhile bring up how much I made so far in a day to one of my friends. However I have a good reason, I have taken him under my wing and to often but not he appears to get distracted and lazy, so I tell him ohyeah I've made xxx today so far, sure lights the fire under his ass as he sees there is money to be made.
Well i run a few sites all less then 9 months old and last month i broke the adsense 1K mark!! and no it is not made for adsense or black aht sites etc.... just find a niche and work hard at it the money will come
I've taken up an odd strategy of building small sites as soon as I think of an idea, just to let them age. I have a bunch of sites I created last Christmas. They get 20-100 visitors a day. Perhaps in a few years I will build them into real sites. I may be trying to prove that I can be more patient than Google.
thats exactly my strategy right now. i've built 4 sites in the last 2 weeks because i know it will be sometime before they get crawled and properly indexed.
