Nice... I'm at $2,500 now. My goal for this year is $5,000 a month. I did quit my job. Glad you love yours, GeorgeB, but I hated mine. I was earning peanuts anyway ($500 a month) for a 9 hour shift. I earn much more than that working a couple of hours on my sites But, as everyone says, it is a pain getting up each morning and wondering if you have the dreaded email in your inbox, if your sites are all online and working, if you still have that top-10 ranking for your keyword...
How many visitors do you have a day? I only have one site with PR4 and 1500 visitors daily. I've optimized it for SEs. I am updating it regularly and exchanging links everyday. But I earn 5 $ a day from it.
Well, it all depends. My main site get 3,000 uniques per day. I use popunders, banners, intersitials and andsense and that helps me earn about $1,300 a month. Another site of mine promotes a pay per lead program, gets about 700 uniques and earns $1,200 Traffic isn't that important, it is your theme that maters. Some sites can be very profitable if you have a tight niche, others need loads of visitors to make a decent income.
im still new to this game, i rarely get 3 digit uniques a day. Whatever, I just need to invest more time in my web career and less time in Halo 2, bullshitting around, reading, and music...well, that and my demanding class schedule.
Ya..the same here ...as david.. My site is 2 weeks old..and I got some 80 uniques so far since March 1st. But no regular income yet...Here and there..hmm...a few $.$ from CJ though....Will have to take more time..and add content to it..never find time.. www.BoredDude.com
making sales through affialite programs kinda annoy's me unless you sell it then make like x amount per month. but that only happens with hosting
If you dont mind sharing...how r u earning..i mean what method are u using to earn...I know affilate programs can be a real pain.... www.BoredDude.com
Well I haven't had a job since I left college. I was going to get a job, until I realized I could probably make as much, or near, what I would normally make on a job in my field and what I could make on the web. In 2005 I'll make about 4 times what I did in 2004, and I expect an even bigger increase in 2006. Life is good. I don't have to work. I get up, plop on my computer, update the sites for an hour or two, and spend all my free time elsewhere. Even so, there's ALWAYS room for improvement, and I can already see many ways I can continue to make more money ahead...
I'm pretty much the same way, though I've got like 2 months left in school and work part time as a desktop administrator. I make more on the web than I do in a real job. I like what I do at work though, so it's not so bad.
Frankly I have joined Cj in June Didn't recieve any payment but balance showing is 169$ I have joined Adsense Search on Sep 19 no payment but balance showing is 8$ My website is a Sub Domain- www.amit.freewebtools.com
Yep. AdSense revenue is $15k/mo; Amazon revenue is $400/mo. That doesn't motivate me to spend a lot of time on Amazon.
