Hey, I've been wondering this about Adsense publishers... Take your average daily earnings and divide it by the number of hours you put in each day working on your site. What's your hourly rate? I'm embarrassed to say I don't even make minimum wage. About $5/hr.
Hehe not much at the moment, but over the coming months it will be rising quite a bit. I'm in a content writing and building phase, I'll be promoting in a month or two.
I make very little. http://www.gregellison.net http://www.cnyfindit.com http://www.esmalumni.org http://www.creditcardmadness.com
That's my goal. Reduce hours spent, increase earnings. As it is, I spend almost 10h/day, and at the end of the day I'm lucky to have 50 bucks to show for it. Funny thing is the harder I work, the lower my "hourly rate" goes. How's that for screwy economics? If this was a real job, I would have quit months ago!
Hehe yer, im one of these guys thats hates putting time into sites, but when I do I get good rewards!
I will put 2 - 3 hours time. I got first check on today i.e $437 So if i work 50 hours per month means My earnings Per hour is $8.50
Per year, per 6month ,per month per day but now per hour =)) I don`t now i made per hour because i check my adsense acc once per day Tomorrow when i check the adsense thread i hope to find " Ho much you ear per second "
Haha, these "how much do you make..." threads probably get annoying after you've read a few hundred. But the point of this one was to see what your rate is. I just picked hourly because it's easier to do the math. Also it really shows you how you compare to other professions like, say, a McDonald's fry cook.
If I come to think about it, a hardly ever work on my sites. What I do is buy and sell sites. So I guess I do earn a lot per hour.
How do you guys calculate how many hours you spend on your site? If I count how many hours I spend in writing articles and posting them then it's very few. But most of the time I spend looking at server logs to find which articles are drawing more traffic, from where, how much etc. Then searching and reseraching for stuff on the net for my site, marketing and advertisng my site. All these count a lot more than the actual time spent.
8$ per hr. I am not happy, I need to leave my office job then i can make 20$ per hour. I am sure, now office is my most loss project...
