    I'm just beginning to get into the paid to blog area, and I'm wondering how much you guys make per month doing it. And how many paid posts do you do per month?

    I was making a couple hundred a month using the services casually, easy money if you have the right PR, and the fastest and easiest way for smaller time bloggers to make money online. Though I got burned in the recent google PR swoop and I'm starting to think twice about using the services, will probably concentrate more on selling products and increasing traffic to my blogs.

    If you have a high PR, ie PR6 or 5 and good Alexa rank, you can earn hundreds or maybe thousands with these posts but with Google penalizing those writing these posts, the amount you can earn will drop drastically.:D

    Why does google penalize them? Is it just that they have an outbound link? I am really new to this as well. I just started my blog a few days ago (the one in my signature). I was thinking I may do some paid to post when I get more traffic (if I can find an advertiser with products for dogs). But I don't know. Maybe I should just stick with Adsense.

    It was last month when I made couple of hundred $$, was a good experience in fact!

    @Rebecca

    I think you must explore the blogosphere. Besides adsensing and paid posting you can run an affiliate program on your blog. That'll be a better option if you've targeted traffic.

    I hadn't really thought about an affiliate program. That is a good idea. I'll have to ask CoCo what he wants to sell.:)

    I've made around 70 dollars. i just started too. my blog is around a month old. I think its a great way to start monetizing. And it forces you to post.

    I use PayPerPost and I also do direct sales to other bloggers and write reviews for their sites or programs (currently I am doing that for $20 each). My site is supposed to be professional-seeming and not a mess, so I don't do PayPerPost a lot unless I can apply it in some way. If I did not limit myself, I would be making more, but probably about a hundred or so with a few PPP's and a couple sponsoreds.

    Bloggernoob, what sites do you use? Most of the ones that I've seen require that your blog is at least 2 or 3 months old.
