To need to work your butt off to get PR 9 for your site. It's never easy and it takes time. If you think you can buy your way to it, you're wrong. You can never bribe Google.
HELLO PEOPLE!.. BING.com WENT FROM PR 2 TO PR9 IN ONE SHOT!!!! cbs owns beside tv, , Radio stations, clear channel I think , news papers.. they are huge big money there
To get PR9 not due to they are paying to google. Or saying google is not selling PR. The reason is this site have quality and quantity backlink which provide them sufficient PR juice to achieve PR9
CBS is the link juice which gives the page a PR 9, it doesn't matter its age -- if it has sitewide and inner-site links from the main CBS site, the site of course will rank highly Also, it is impossible to pay google to change that manually. Their algorithm is a mathematical formula combined with over 1,000 algos which say why sites have certain page ranks. To be able to manually override all algos and just add a pr of 9 to a site is nearly impossible in programming land. Google's PR and rankings are based on a formula and many many variables including mathematical rules -- it's like taking a rubiks cube and changing the stickers to form all the perfect sides which can not really be solved again due to the rubik cube's "algorithm" -- the same applies to Google in regards to buying your PageRank
It's not about big money, it's about the fact that MSN.com has a link on EVERY page -- which MSN.com has over 102,000,000 + pages indexed. Imagine having over 102 million pages linking to one site, it builds upon link juice so much that the idea of spam and the rest is of no concern because of MSN's authority and age. Another reason is due to the links on all of the blogs, newspaper sites, etc. covering Bing.com's release.
