How much do you have to make before google sends you a gift?

What is that threshold? Is it 1 year? is it 10k?? 5K?? get a monthly check?

I am just wondering cause I have been getting a check now for 5 months straight and no love from them this Christmas.. I was hoping I would get love too.

 

i dont think anybody knows for sure.. i made over $30k this year and i got nuthin :-(
Last year I was one of their Adsense Success Stories and i got nuthin then either (although being a Success Story is a gift in itself)..

 

May be if you earn over $50k, you can expect a gift from google. Hope that will happen in the new year

 

I think I need to travel a lot before getting a gift!

wow. i did not even know google gave presents, is it their way of trying to be more "in with the click" so to speak, like the recent "its snowing outside but there snow spam in your inbox" gmail message.

 

Got a digital picture frame last year, but no idea how much you have to earn to get any gifts...

 

Sometime I am thinking if they have a naughty and nice list.. or just a nice list and those on the nice list get gifts. and those that are not on any list get none. Either way If I get the gift I will post it for ya. But if we have people in here earning over 30k in a year and not getting gifts I do not think I will get one. Though that John Chow got a gift and he doesn;t use them anymore.. and he gamed them to get to top of ranking earlier in the year too..

Anyone knows what Google presents they give?
Not "Keep it up, Happy New Year" cards , I hope?

Better presents would be:
-A personally signed card from Sergei and Larry would be nice

-A PR jump to PR8 for your site would be awesome!

-10 Google shares/stock is a bonus

I read that they sent out video camera's this year!

 

They are currently sending out flip video cameras.

 

Which has google in it? Now that's cool!

 

I also heard of 2gb flash drives. and some people with fridges.

So Maybe it is people who do adwords then not those who use adsense.
