Hello, I bet it was asked before but I really want to know what's the situation of the market right now.
Please answer the question by telling me how many hours you work daily too.
    Thanks!

Depends, you earn per experience ie what you can do.

You can get paid per an hour or get paid up flat. I live in the UK and used to get around 150 for one website. Which would be around 200 for U.S I suppose?

Yes this question has been asked many hundreds of times. It really doesn't matter to you or give you any indication as there are more things to consider than just time. The guy above me says he used to get £150. I wouldn't answer the phone for less than that.. You won't get a website from me for less than £800 (Well you won't get one from me at all as I have packed the web building in now for bigger things) but, if you have the reputation and the demand is there you can charge what you like ;-)

True, if you have a high demand you can raise your prices more. Also, what they want. Like what kind of websites does it need java/html/css and all that. You could easily rake in 500 quid.

Depends on many things: Your time, Your experience, Your skillset and so much more. Anywhere from $200-$400 is average I would say.

I dont know if there is a pattern that by following it you can actual use in order to charge.

But as you said above knowing your experiance and how much you need/want to make a month and long will it take you is a good way to be really fair with your clients.

It really depends on the services that you have to offer, the quality that you can deliver. Usually better freelancers have confidence to charge more. Result oriented guys are not really professionals, so they tend to adjust with whatever the client is willing to pay (or) sometimes even lower than that. If you charge more & your quality of service is less, then you are most likely going to get rough treatment from your client.

Freelancers earn based on their reputation but, for most freelancers its not a constant income. So, they prefer a job instead of being a full time freelancer.

As I've stated in another post ~2k but it's not all from freelancing some of it comes from sites that generate passive income.

If you're new and looking to charge more for your services, the best avenue is word of mouth which takes some pro-bono work, doing some cheap work, etc to get people to trust you at the same time building your portfolio.

For me, it was when I became an instructor and forum admin at CartoonSmart when word of mouth started spreading for me. Because this brought more work my way I had to charge more to slow down the request and lighten my loud so to speak.

So work of pro-bono, such as churches, non-profits, etc and use that to build a nice portfolio then you can start spreading that around when you get request for projects and jobs. You are listed on all the top freelance sites such as oDesk, Elance, vWorker, right? This would be another requirement in my opinion because there are clients their.

I think all type of business get less at first glance but by the end of the day. You'll get your estimated goal.

how much you earn completely depends upon your skills, command over the web languages, also some of the clients ask to develop the site from SEO point of view. experience and skills matters.:)
