I make some good money from my site, but its not base on any high paying keyword. I create the site not for adsense. I just work on a traffic More traffic=more clicks=more money.
I slapped AdSense on my site back in December, 2004. Since then, it's brought in anywhere from $50 per month (last month) to $110 per month (early this year). I suspect SmartPricing is kicking my tail, but I'll take what I can get. I built the site for personal reasons, so whatever money it brings in via AdSense or Amazon referrals or affiliate sales is pretty much gravy. (Hosting costs are dirt cheap.) Would I like to earn more? Sure. But I'm not going to tear myself up worrying about it. I just add my content when I can, hope it helps people, and go on.
Average USD12 per day. It was started as a personal blog, then getting popular and Google Adsense started to accept personal websites(I was rejected once at the beginning of Google Adsense program). The income is growing steady. It is hard for me to start a new site targeted to certain content that is not my interest. I write because I enjoy.
Are you serious? Did you actually post that? What are you thinking? That's wrong in so many ways! First, you're basically stealing from other webmasters who are trying to make a living online with PPC ads. Second, its completely against Google's TOS. You'd get a) banned and b) prosecuted. No thanks! Sheesh some people!
Oops I reall messed up the formatting and detail in that didn't I? I only really wanted to post amounts. Anyhow $58 in May, $10 the month before.
Hmm.. alang, How much do you earn per month? You idea about higher traffic is correct but how can you get the click when all your sites do not load at all ....
I earn about USD 900 - USD 1200 monthly. From the three sites, 1 sites I get 4,000 daily unique visitors, 1 site 200, and the other one less than 50. Since you from the same country as me, you should know how the performance of our local web hosting provider. Lots of downtime, unreliable, etc. etc. Might getting dedicated server soon to solve this problem.
The most important thing for me is, less competitor, so you can have most of the traffic for that industries. If you target high paying keyword for your site, I'm sure you will face a tougher competition from the big guys out there. Unless, you are one of the big guys, you really can't get in the game.
that's why some forum members have stressed finding a moderately-high priced niche and hammering the hell out of it. I guess you got to know where to attack and do it quickly before someone else jumps on it.
I also like to work with this concept in all business practices you worry about all the other factors such as traffic first. Money will come from the hard work put in . But from my understanding you can get away with making a quick dollar on adsense by targeting high paying keywords and putting garbage content
True .. more traffic ... My site is now about 1 mth old, traffic is only 50-60 a day, and although my click thru rate soar after i implemented tips in this forum (from 0.4 to 2+) i need more traffic. Currently making around $1 plus perday.
The site I run brings in about 600-700 a month. Not a lot, but I only get about 1200 uniques a day. The site is still young, and I work continuously at making it better. I firmly believe traffic and user base is the key. Make a great site and get a large following and the word gets out and income goes up. Its all about creating good content that users want to see on the web. Forget about putting up crap sites just to make money. The rewards will be short term for the folks who do this and all it does is hurt the program overall. Why do you think earnings have gone down since the advertisers have had a chance to opt out of the content network? Anyway, this is from experience. I tried a site "made for adsense" and it only worked for about 5 months. It has now fallen off the planet.
