I was wondering what most of the dp members earn per unique visitor... I make close to 6-7 cents per visitor... Anusha ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- F R E E Domain Name - Ends on Monday May 2, 2005 at 5.00pm PDT.
Clicks per visitor on an average: 0.20 Revenue Per Visitor on an average: 30 cents His Visit to my websites and blogs: Priceless!!!
I average .15 but have had my fair share of 1 cent ones. Its by no means my main source of income and basically just pays for my hosting and AdWords campaigns
I would immediately get a big AdWords campaign up and running. If you can 'buy' a visitor for say 5ct and they make you 30 on avg then it's a no-brainer to me to get a grands worth of campaigning going.
30 cents I can achieve because of my meso blog... and if I gonna make adwords campaign, I would need to spend much more than 30 cents.. LOLZZZZ!!!
My average is 12 cents per visitor, but I just have the Ads as a way of getting some income out of the visitors that didn't find on the site what they were looking for... I mean... I'm not crazy about sending potential customers to my competitors, and I'd still prefer to keep the client and make the sale myself, but if they see an Ad that attracts them more than what they are seeing on my site, then they can go and see what the other company is offering. Since they left, chances are that they were not going to buy from me anyway. .
Well, chances that customers anyways check more offers, than just yours, it's senseless. In the end they will buy at that store, which fits best to them. no matter if they found it via adsense and your site, or via google itself
I'm only getting about 5 cents a click - my keywords don't pay. I need to get in the same business as Maverick
Well, I just calculated: I get about 1.2cents/visitor. But it's just a personal weblog, with no specific topic anyways, so I think that's fine. Btw: Why the heck did I get a bad rep. for this thread? -.-
Are they Meso Ads that are showing Maverick? I know that may sound like a stupid question but .30 sounds very low
What? I know customers ARE going to check more offers, that is a certainty. But what I'm saying is that if while doing this (checking all the available offers) they find my site and don't like what they see on it, I rather give them an option and make a few cents than just let them no option but the -back- button. .
Probably - I don't know. Just thought you probably could get some impressions with this little money. This would have another effect, too: Spending, let's say, 20$ on this campaign, would then last very long. 5-10c meso ad + very low impressions = very much time, until the 20$ are gone . but anyways, as I already said above, I don't know. I don't use adwords, so I have no clue. It anyways was just a little thought from me //edit: tapantini: well, reading your post, i assumed that you placed your adsense ads not very "click-friendly", so you won't stumble over them very likely, while browsing your site. so, everything i said, was, that it probably would be more wise to really place them "click-friendly", because then even the ones, that buy at your shop, and think your site is good, will probably click the ads and you get more revenue. hard to explain as a german... but i hope you got it.
Well, since clicks just get your money rid, this one click would lower the $20 just by 5c, so you still have 19.95 left
No, according to the AdWords estimator its about $9 a click for a Meso Ad. I don't know how accurate it is since I don't run Meso ads but its a far cry from .05
Hm, well, probably I understood the whole smartpricing thing wrong. Okay, what I thought so far: You bid on a keyword, the amount you want to pay for a click. The higher you "rank" in the bids, the more impressions you get. So, if, let's say, the #1 bid for keyword x is $50 and you bid $0.05. Then you will likely get one impression a day (or less ), but you WILL get some (depending on your bid amount). So, no matter what the max. bid is, you can always bid less, if you are fine with (way) less impressions. Is that not right?
Don't be so sure about this. Remember that AdWords positions the Ads not just according to how much you pay, but also according to how effective your Ads are. I run some ads on highly competitive terms where highest bidders pay $9 per click and I just pay .05 cents for my ads, but as the ads are good and keep a decent CTR, most of the time they appear on the first set of results, and of course, I get many .05 cents clicks. .
