Makes sense, but I didn't realize one can create a white label site as an amazon affiliate, even with the api. Buyers have no idea they are buying from Amazon?
That's a pity about the inconsistency, but I cannot share the same experience to date. Some days are better than others and one day may bring in 6 sales and the next 0, but my target for this month is £180 from one website and I think I'll reach it once the other sales have been added to my total. I aim for £300 for September and not double this month due to me been on holiday for a fortnight. Best of Luck Mark
That's about what I make. But hey, you only have to sell 360 items to earn that kind of commission from Amazon...LOL!
I make $70 a month. Considering the page is only 4 months old not bad.. but it will be hard to get bigger, I feel like I am at my limit with the current content that I have. Looking to expand. For all those asking "how and what did you do" the answer is simple: when you make great content, great users will come to your site and order products if you sell them well and they trust you. There's no quick way, at least not that I know of. Cheers
For the people that are making 500$+/month. I'm looking for some advice from experienced, successful Amazon Affiliates. How should you open text links to Amazon Products? In a new window? New tab? If you recommend several products, for example, what should I do? While I don't want people to go away from my site, I want them to order a lot of the products. I make about 70$/month so I am not a complete newbie. Thanks I appreciate the advice!
I made one test website exactly 30 days ago, and i made 3 sales. It brought me an approx $20. I am happy with the progress. Here are the keypoints. A) None of the sales came through the side bar banner Ad of the same product. B) None of the sales came through the In content horizontal banners. C) The sales came through text links. I dont know if the same window or open in new window technique works. or if one is better than the other. However, i just put a lot of effort in writing content. Hours and hours on one product review. Give them quality, and call to action, and you'll get your sales.
I tried something different in June of this year and what a difference it has made. I already had my product review site in place months before, so I looked at my account for March, April and May and decided enough is enough there's money to be made at Amazon. So the following checklist is what I put in place and it certainly has made a difference. 1. Check for mainly technology products which are between £100 - £350 2. Feedback score should have 4 out of five stars 3. Recent positive feedback within three months 4. Item is in stock 5. Use free Google keyword tool for research 6. Main keywords have to either have very low competition of limited data with Google 7. Write up a review using the keywords in title tags, main description, image and throughout the content I don't use banners in any of my reviews, as people don't seem to like them, I make my title and image clickable and I should get about £200 of earnings this month with a 6% conversion which is very healthy considering the price of the promoted items and I will post an Amazon screenshot in the next few days at the end of the month. How much others make doesn't matter. It's how much you want to make. If you want do $xx,xxx per month, you can, but it's not easy and involves a lot of work to get there. Most quit after the site setup, which is the easy part.
