How much do you charge to code a template?

I think I'm going to hold a contest on SitePoint for an uncoded template. They seem to get a lot more attention than coded template contests. Then obviously I would need somebody to code it. How much does this usually cost? (I want it in XHTML/CSS)

Depends on the complexity, but I get most templates coded for $40-$60.

As for my prices: approximately $35 - $50 USD for basic (x)HTML + CSS (1 static page) - depending on the complexity of a design..

What's more important - how do you define a "template"?

    Kindly regards,
    L.

Um I guess a template would be a .html file.
