Pood, Hmmm. Unless you are married and have children you'll find French taxation much higher than the US. Secondly, unless you live somewhere like New York, you'll also find living costs much higher.
Hello, 42K€-48K€ = 58K$-66K$. which is really too much for a junior. Meanwhile 42K$ (30K€) should be okay considering your education and professionnal background. By the way, as mentionned dburdon, costs of living is different in Europe (Taxation, and so on). Regards Thibaut
