I'm looking into hiring a web designer to build a site ground up based on my outlines on how I want it to look. However I want to hire a professional with the right qualifications as I want the the website to look professional and clean, not amateur-ish. How much does a good web designer charge for a website? Or in what range should I accept the cost to be? thanks
I would say that any good designer charges $50-100/hour for design work. I won't even say what a studio would charge!
Thanks How many hours does it take to make an average website? Or please give me a range inbetween it could take
Very basic but professional looking site (consisiting of a few graphics and about 3-4 pages) 2-3 hours. Something more complex could take alot longer, it depends on your requirements.
Price range can depend on the country you live in, in some countries an average pay wages $100-200 per month, in some $2000-3000 per month. If it's a 'professional' looking web-desing that requires about 10 days of work, it could be around 1/2 of the monthly pay for local standards. It's best to check out the web-sites of competitors and see how much they charge, then scale.
Yes, it depends how many pages are need to be design, programmed. As far as I know, those Indians are the cheapest.
it depends upon your requirments what you need to be done design or even the code ? if its just the design then it would take around 2-3 hours of time and $100 an hour
