We're talking just PR. No developed site, no/few backlinks, etc
I have the ability to get more than I can use, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth my while to sell them

Dropped and no backlinks means it is not a PR5. It was a PR5. Now it has fake PR and selling it without disclosure would be fraudulent.

how do you detect if its a fake PR; what if even the fake pr tools say that the pr is valid

Is it fake in the sense that it has no backlinks or is it a kind of fraudulent activity that is being attempted.

If it has a valid PR, it must have backlinks. Check Yahoo, sometimes Google won't show with the link:eek:perator.
