How long is a piece of string? Depends on the keywords you use and the competition, use the Google Keyword Tool to get an "rough" estimate on the amount of traffic and a "rough" estimate on cost per click. Adwords is not something that you can throw money at and expect awesome results without knowing exactly what you are doing. Take the time to learn it inside out and drive highly relevant and targeted traffic to your site, don't get caught in the "more traffic is better traffic" mindset. Good luck

It depends on the keywords you are using and whether you want to put ads via the content networks (ad placements) or just google.com.

Conent networks are cheaper, so in that case it might cost you 100-250 dollars. If you you want adwords on google.com then it's probably the double amount.

It depends on your keywords and the amount of time/effort you put in.

Alot of people tell me that Adwords is for more experienced people - And that you can easily lose 100$'s in it.

    Prawn:

It is a travel site wich includes many options: forum, offers, possiblity to search a travel partner, a complete search for : flight, hotels, etc

At the moment it is a site developed in spanish but as soon as I can I will translate to english.

In the case adwords results too expensive, what can you suggest me? what other networks could work fine for me?

Thanks a lot to all for your anwers :)

The results given by those estimation tools are usually double what they are in reality and also don't consider a well structured and optimised account. Within a week you can half those costs while retaining the same positions, if you want me to give you some realistic CPC's then let me know.

you can't have any specific measurement for it, but the cost vs traffic vs keywords have a strong correlation.

    depends on:

your keywords (broadness, number, matching options etc)
your market (demand, responsiveness, is it a good market to sell ppc in)
the competition (how much are they bidding, are 1000's after one keywords)
how much you manage it (budget maximization)
your max budget for cost per click

as you can see there are lots of issue that can affect it.

Why don't you better invest in SEO?You can hire a SEO company.

It is a long term investition. And you will get 1,000 visitors daily for free after a few months.
