How much do forums earn?

    I am interested in knowing how much forums typically earn. If anyone here runs a forum I would like to know how much their forum makes.

    Also, are forums generally a good way to make money on the Web?

    Forums earn from anywhere between $1000 to $100,000

    Depends on what kind of monetization is in place and what is the definition of a successful forum.

    If DP or some other forums like it are there then I guess it is in 5 figures for sure. ;)

    My forum earn from selling ads space at $5k+/month not including the sticky post

    i own a forum it has only made $0.02 so far lol but it's only been open 2 months but when it gets popular ill stick ads in my rotator on homepage. Gets 3.6k pagevies a month:)

    I had an erotic forum and I made over 1.000$ after 5'th months... the forum lived 10 months :(

    A spy entered the forum and made all the RS links dead... There is still a forum but not functional :(
