    Do you have any idea how much companies pay for ads in popular websites? Say, how much do they pay for 1M visitors? :)

    I4C brings up some great points. 1M visitors in a porn site won't bring in All-State Insurance ;)

    Other questions that a serious advertiser would ask I think would be source of the traffic, page views, time on site, etc.

    big companies advertising their banners on high traffic websites like Yahoo i heard pay per day

    i think i read somewhere, but i may be off by a lot...that to advertise a banner on yahoo homepage, it costs around $370,000 for 24 hours...
